A bit side-tracked but still on track
The last few months have been great here at PixelSavvy.Com. I know it's taken me a while to write another blog, but never fear.. we're still alive an open for business. The forums have slowed down a bit, as well as the hits. But the joy of this site is that it's more of a moment in time that will always gain you hits. Trends may come and go, but this site will always be around. It hasn't even been a full year since the MillionDollarHomepage made the news. I don't see advertizing going anywhere.. so at least take advantage of the free pixel area. Your site will be listed in our free section forever (or until it gets full, at whichpoint it's first come first served).
The links that we have on our page now have generated thousands of hits for the sites that partcipate in the PixelSavvy.Com experience. If you're not up on advertizing but would like to talk or chat about advertizing.. please visit the PixelSavvy.Com Free Public Forum.
Thank you to all that have supported me so far in this endevor, it has been a learning process as well as a huge success in my eyes.

New Forum Logo, Graphics, and Free Section!
This
month has been incredible. We've received more hits this month
that we did for the first 2 months combined! We're now fully
spidered into all the major search engines as well. I have been
doing a lot of work on the site lately. Tricia (my wonderful
and loving girlfriend who supports me 100%) created a new
logo for the PixelSavvy
Free Online Forums. I've also created some new graphics for
the menu-bar, so there is a dedicated button for the forums.
As
you can see, there is now a free
section! I've been mulling the idea over for quite some
time now, and I felt that the time was right. I want to drive
as many hits to our pixel supporters' pages as possible. I feel
that by attracting more clients (free or not) will drive
more traffic to the site.
Take
a look at the current stats...wow!

March Madness!
As
you may have guessed going to school full-time and work full-time
has made it slightly difficult to make the upgrades to PixelSavvy
that I want to. I've been putting most of my focus lately into
PixelSavvy.Com's
Free Online Forum. We now have 35 registered members
and over 360 posts. Things are really taking off. I encourage
everyone to drop by and say hello...it's always great to hear
from visitors/fans/supporters/etc.
Last
month went great, and this month is off to a good start. Below
are the current stats.

New Forum Off to a Great Start!
The
PixelSavvy.Com Online Forum has been going for about a week
now, and is going great! We have 14 registered members, and
over 100 posts so far! I'd like to thank everyone for joining
up, the more users we have, the better the site does.
I've
been working on a few upgrades for the main website, that should
roll out very soon, so keep your eyes on the site for changes
to come. The traffic pouring in is amazing, We've almost doubled
that of last month already!

As
you can see, we're getting close to 60 unique hits per day, which
is a dramatic jump from last month. The click stats illustrate
a very good point on image placement. The Signology ad is placed
at the top of the page, and the DJ Savage ad towards the middle.
The Signology ad has received twice the hits, even though the
ad size is 600 pixels smaller. Keep that in mind when placing
your ad order.
Thank
you again to all of my MySpace.com
friends for adding my banner to their profiles. Here are the
stats generated from those ads.
In
other site related news. Due to recent support, I will be attending
Phoenix Online starting Feb 27th! I've been fully accepted, and
I'm very excited to start classes. I will be finishing up
my Business Management Degree while I work at my present full-time
job. I would not have been able to attend school without your
support. Your help is making my dream of finishing school,
and starting my own recording studio come true.

New Look for February!
This
month is turning out to be very promising, we've had tons of hits
and our current adverts are doing great. Take a look at the current
stats.

I'm
currently working on making a dedicated stats page that will be
able to show up to the hour stats and click-thru rankings. I've
been mulling around a few different ideas for the site, and how
to drive traffic. The traffic pixelsavvy.com is getting now is
amazing, but I want more!
If
you haven't noticed, the logo and menu bar has been re-vamped
to help with the aesthetics of the site. On another note, pixelsavvy.com
has now been fully listed on MSN.Com and Yahoo.Com. We are
listed on Google, but we're still working on SEO to get the page
higher up on the rankings.
In
other site related news, I will be reviewing different pixel scripts
this week to see which one I want to go with. This will dramatically
smooth out the ordering process. Stay tuned, great things
to come!

January's Final Stats, and First Press
Release!
Let's
start off with the final stats for Jan: over
190,000 hits in 19 days!

As
you can see, PixelSavvy.Com has jumped off to a great start it's
first month, with over 190,000 hits and almost 25 unique visitors
per day. The goal for Feb is to be at 50 unique hits per day,
and with your help we will get there.
As
for our first new advertiser, Signology
of Nashville, they are loving the site and have already experienced
an influx of hits from the various links on this site.
Here's
the breakdown: notice how the placement
of the ad towards the top of the page generates more hits!

In
other news, PixelSavvy.Com will be releasing it's first press
release via PRweb tomorrow, 2/3/06 which will hopefully help
in driving traffic to PixelSavvy.Com. This is a sign of things
to come, and I can't wait for the future to get here. I have some
amazing things in the works.

First Pixels Sold! - MySignology.Com
I
sold my first pixels today to a local, Nashville sign company
called Signology!
I met with the owner of the company today, and she bought a
20x20 ad (400 pixels) to help advertise her Nashville Sign Shop
and attract new clients.
As
most of you may have read by now, I've started PixelSavvy.Com
to help pay my way through college and recording school. I can
almost taste it now!
Thank
you to all of you that have helped promote my site, and a special
thanks goes out to the members of my new myspace group PixelSavvy.Com
Street Team. Without you, none of this would be possible.
Please keep up the hard work, it's much appreciated! I'm
so stoked right now, I think I'm going to go run around the block.

Amazing results,
big first week!
 |
Wow,
a week has already flown by. Things are doing great, and I
am very optimistic. I have spoken with a few business owners
that have told me that they are all in when I get some other
clients. However, if everyone is waiting on someone else..
we'll never get there. |
So
in an effort to keep pixelsavvy fresh on everyone's mind, I have
opened up a myspace group called Pixel
Savvy.Com Street Team. It's off to a huge start with over
250 members and counting. I do encourage everyone to drop by and
if you have any questions about pixelsavvy.com, this is the place
to voice them.
These
are this week's current stats.. more than 4 times that of last
week!
In
some related news, as you may have read..Alex Tew's website...
MillionDollarHomePage.Com got hacked and held for ransom. I was
relieved to hear that his site is back online without having to
pay any ransom...and the FBI is on the case.
Also,
you might want to check out the Spread
The Word section for new banners and buttons to help promote
pixelsavvy.com. Well, I must be going now.. thank you again
for all your support.

First
day a huge success!
PixelSavvy.Com's
first day went great! I was up till the wee hours of the morning
sending out e-mails and submitting info to search engines. I do
also want to welcome all my friends/fans from myspace.com!
Check
out the current stats (pretty good considering I'm not even searchable
yet by search engines).

These
are very exciting times. The MillionDollarHomepage.Com has now
finished selling off all 1,000,000 of his pixels. The last 1000
pixels went for about $30,000.00! With all of those spaces now
filled, website owners are now scrambling to find a new place
to advertise.
I
have joined up with SillyTraffic.Com
(a website I designed) and I
Love Hits to help drive traffic to your advertisements. Just
to let you know, the first 1,000.00 dollars I make will be reinvested
into the site (if not more).
E-mails
are flooding in, and I have talked to a lot of really nice website
owners from all over the world. But, I still need your help! Go
to the Spread The
Word link at the top of the page to tell your friends and
business partners about this site. I now have some banners
you can place on your site to help direct your clients to your
ad here on PixelSavvy.Com! Well, that's all for now, back to caffeine
and long hours for me. I will make this site the best on the net!

PixelSavvy.Com
is launched!
This
is a very exciting day, PixelSavvy.Com went live! I've been following
the reviews and press around Alex
and the wonderful idea he had. I had been pondering how to go
about putting up a site of my own, and if I should.
So
here's the deal, my name is Dylan
Savage and I'm looking to continue my education, but I couldn't
quite see how I could make ends meet. So I've taken a shot in
the dark.. and here we go! I am an aspiring musician and audio
engineer (long way to go if you are familiar with the music biz).
All proceeds will go to further this goal.
I've
spent the last few days building the site, and getting everything
set. So if you see anything that might need changing, please e-mail
me at dylan@pixelsavvy.com.
So
friends, family, and new found web-surfer's unite! Help me out,
and get yourself some amazing ad-space in return! I will be
partnering with several search engines, and click-thru traffic
generators, as well as trying to generate as much traffic for
your ads as possible. I'll keep you posted on that. In the
meantime... Buy
Some Pixels!
